How many times have you heard this Scripture read at weddings?
It is such a familiar Bible verse that we often skip over it when reading.

FAITH: Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

HOPE: To trust in, wait for, look for, or desire something or someone; or to expect something beneficial in the future.

LOVE: 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a (ESV) "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth."

Truly love those you encounter in your daily life. Care for those who have needs. Provide for, encourage, lift up, support and pray for God's people. By doing this, you are doing the work of Jesus. We are His hands and feet.

Today I'd like to focus on just giving praise to our great God, our Maker, our Creator, our King above all.

Think about your life and how God brought you through life situations.
Perhaps you were ill, and God brought you back to health.
Maybe you were going in the wrong direction in life and God turned you around.
You may have been a miracle. You could have witnessed a miracle.
Our great God is more than capable to handle anything that comes your way.

Give God a shout out this very day. He IS worthy of our praise. Let someone know today that Our God Reigns. Sing to the Lord. Shout joyfully.

JOHN 3:16
If you've attended Sunday School, Worship, Kids Club or other Chruch programs for even a few months, you likely have heard this treasured Bible verse.

This verse provides us with the basis of the Christian faith.
God Loved The World.
He Gave Jesus To Cover Our Sins.
If We Believe, We Have Eternal Life In Heaven.

It's truly that simple folks. God truly does love you and wants you to spend eternity in the heavenly world. Trust Him today with your life. It'll be worth it.

Wedding Toasts! Gifts. Dance floor. Meal. Presents. MOTB and FOTB. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. These are all things we see at a typical wedding here in NorthWest Ohio. So when you read this passage from Matthew 22:1-14 about the Parable Of The Wedding Banquet, just what on earth is it talking about? Sounds like a bizarre passage in the Holy Bible . . . UNTIL you unwrap the meaning behind the words.

These questions came to mind as I worked on this Sunday's sermon. What are your thoughts?

1) What does the wedding banquet represent and why does Jesus say that the kingdom of heaven is can be compared to it?

2) Why is it in this parable that the people would beat the slaves who bring the invitation and even kill some of them? What did that do the attitude of the king and what did he do about it?

3) Starting at verse 11, we see the king notices someone who is not wearing wedding clothes and kicks him out into the darkness. What is meaning of this passage? Why might it be important to us today?

IN HIS TIME song was written in 1978 by Diane Ball.
Here are the full lyrics:

Diane wrote this song as she was running late to a speaking engagement. Would these be the words you would have in your mind when running late? Diane didn't at first. She was furious; fretted and stewed. THEN, she asked God to give her some peace. THAT'S when these words to IN HIS TIME song came to her mind.

Wouldn't it be nice if we would ask God to grant us peace sooner than being at the furious stage? Good thing, God always loves us and is constantly waiting for us to turn to Him. Thank you God!

Who doesn't in this life need to be more reflective of our Creator? To trust in God our Father day to day. I'm so very thankful that God welcomed me into His family. What a blessing it has been to be used of God to Shepherd this great congregation. I'm forever grateful.

May your find IN HIS TIME, to be the perfect time.

Tips on making time for Jesus in our day to day lives!
1. Quit making excuses.
2. Start the day off praying.
3. Create a dialog with Him throughout the day.
4. Incorporate Jesus into your conversation with others.
5. Set aside time to spend in the Word and follow through.
6. End your day with Him.

Again. A post about time. Time with God the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit to lead you in your day to day life.

I'm praying that you feel God's Spirit with you as you make decisions; as you look for ways to serve God; as you have conversations; as your choose your words and actions wisely.

God loves you today and always. You are never out of reach of God's love. CHOOSE Jesus as your Savior today.

Time. We all want more. Sometimes, time goes fast..........other times slow. Some of us may think "If I Could Turn Back Time". Perhaps you want to put "Time In A Bottle".

No matter your state of mind about time, we all know that time on this earth comes to an end for each of us. Not trying to be down in the dumps here, but it's the way it is.

Some day, Jesus will be making His 2nd return to this earth to bring all Believers to the glorious heavenly world. You and I may be alive to see this or we may have already passed. But be ye prepared this very day. Is your heart right with the Lord? Have you asked Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life? These are important questions to have confident answers to.
