KICKOFF — WEEK 3

This week, we’re looking at the story of Stephen and the persecution faced by the early church.

Stephen boldly stood for Jesus, even when it cost him everything. And as persecution caused believers to scatter, something amazing happened. The gospel spread!

As followers of Jesus moved to different places, they took the Good News with them, sharing the message of Jesus wherever they went.

Our kids will discover that even when following Jesus is difficult, God can use our circumstances to spread His gospel and reach others.

KICKOFF — WEEK 2!

The early church wasn’t just about gathering together, they were a family that loved, helped, and supported one another and the people around them!

This week in Kickoff, we’re discovering what it looks like to be the kind of church that cares for others, meets needs, shares what we have, and shows the love of Jesus in action.

We can’t wait to see what our Calvary Kids learn this week!

🏈🔥 KICKOFF IS HERE! 🔥🏈

We’re kicking off a brand-new series as we explore the beginnings of the Church after Jesus ascended to Heaven!

This week, we’re heading to Acts 2 and discovering what happened when the Holy Spirit empowered the apostles on the Day of Pentecost. The disciples didn’t have to carry out Jesus’ mission in their own strength because the Holy Spirit gave them the power they needed to boldly share the Gospel!

🙌 The same God who empowered the early Church is still at work in us today!

Let’s KICKOFF this new series together! 🏈🔥

Following Jesus means leaving some things behind.

The disciples left their boats, their jobs, and what was familiar to follow Jesus. And while following Him requires sacrifice, what Jesus offers is worth so much more. ❤️

This week, we’re challenging our kids to think about what it really means to follow Jesus, not just when it’s easy or convenient, but with our whole lives.

Jesus is worth everything. 🙌

WE ARE ALL FISHERS OF PEOPLE!

Did you know Jesus can use the things you’re already good at for His kingdom? When Jesus called Peter and Andrew, He didn’t ask them to forget that they were fishermen. He gave their profession a whole new purpose!

This Sunday in Followers, we’re talking about what it means to follow Jesus by helping others follow Him, and how every one of us has a part to play in the Great Commission. 🙌

👀 Check out this week’s parent video to see what your kids will be learning!

We’ll see you Sunday! ❤️
