Beth David Beth David offers a vibrant Brotherhood and Sisterhood as well as a wide variety of educational and social programs for both our adult and youth members.

We are a Reform Judaism congregation of over three hundred families with a commitment to spiritual and personal growth. Serving West Orange County and the greater Long Beach community for fifty years, Temple Beth David is led by Rabbi Nancy Myers and offers a vibrant Brotherhood and Sisterhood as well as a wide variety of educational and social programs for both our adult and youth members. Known as the Singing Synagogue, Temple Beth David boasts a phenomenal music program and a choir that enriches our worship services on High Holy Days as well as other special events throughout the year. Our educational services include pre-school, religious school, Hebrew school and adult curriculum programs. At Temple Beth David visitors are always welcome. We invite you to join us for Shabbat services every Friday evening and look forward to having you as a member of our congregation.

Learning is sweet at Beth David!

What a delicious Sunday! Thank you to Sydney of for leading our Hebrew School cooking class. Our students made Apple Ring Pancakes, a sweet nod to the apples and honey we enjoy for the Jewish New Year. The kitchen was full of laughter, great smells, and plenty of tasting along the way.

Our littlest members celebrated Sukkot in style! At our last Tot Shabbat, they sang, danced around the sanctuary, played instruments, and shared at show and tell. No one has to stay in their seats!

Tot Shabbat is a joyful 35-minute Shabbat and holiday experience made just for little ones, followed by a wonderful oneg. It's a great way for young children to learn about and experience Judaism.

Next up: Hanukkah! Join us Saturday, December 5 at 10:30 AM as we celebrate the Festival of Lights together. All are welcome!
