🌼 Today is often known as “Silent Wednesday.”

Very little is recorded in the Gospels about the Wednesday of Holy Week.

🩵 Jesus appears to be still and quiet - maybe resting from such a busy day of teaching on Tuesday.

But in the background, Judas is stirring the pot…agreeing to betray Jesus for 30 pieces of silver!

It makes me stop and think…how have I betrayed my Savior?

It makes me long to draw in closer and closer to Him.

✝️ Today’s prayer:

God, please forgive me when I have known what You wanted me to do or say…but I still chose to do it my way. Please help me see You and to choose You every single time. In Jesus’ name, amen.

As you gather in Sunday School or Sunday morning worship this week, please remember to pray for Riley Medlin and her family. Pray for positive test results they are waiting for, and pray specifically for her upcoming surgery on Friday. The doctors say they can get “most of it,” but our prayer is they get ALL of it.

SCAN IS TODAY AT 4:00!!!!

Please continue praying for Riley Medlin (she's pictured in the middle with her triplet sisters). This is a summary of her mom's posts:

Her biopsy did reveal cancer, BUT GOD...
Her case was presented to a board, and there are two doctors who think they can surgically remove most of it. This is God at work, as this was not an option at the beginning. She has a PET scan Monday. Pray it doesn’t show cancer in any other places. Her surgery is scheduled for next Friday. This will be a major surgery (really two surgeries in one). Pray that they get every single bit of cancer out with clean margins.

As many of you may know, one of our own youth members needs our prayers! Please if you can be in prayer for Riley and her family as Riley is experiencing some major health concerns.

Pray for her, her family, and the doctors as they provide them with the next step.

We will be hosting a prayer service TONIGHT at 6:00 in the sanctuary. Please join us as we come together to pray for a special family of CBC! We love you, Riley and are praying for you in the days, weeks, and months to come! 💙💙
