Assalamualaikum warahmatullah Wabarakatuh
Dear elders, brothers, and sisters of the community,

As we continue to monitor Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments closely, the health and well-being of our community members is of paramount importance.
With this in mind we did mashwara with Ulamah, Medical professional and community members. It was decided to proceed with Jumuah prayers at MMI on March 13th 2020.

However, we are limiting the congregation upto 100 people.
If there are more than 100 people, 2nd Jumuah will be performed right after completion of 1st Salah.

Anyone who is sick (cold, cough, fever, tiredness, breathing problems or flu-like symptoms), elderly, sisters and children, they should perform regular Zuhr prayer at home. This also includes anyone that has traveled within the past 14 days.

It is recommended for additional people to wait in their cars until the first Salah completes. It is also recommended that all of us offer our Sunnah prayers at home.

Due to COVID-19, MMI will be cancelling ALL classes starting FRIDAY March 13,2020 until SUNDAY April 5, 2020. Madrasa will resume as usual on Monday, April 6, 2020 InshaAllah.

Our madrasa and prayers including jummah will continue as regularly, and we have told those who are sick to remain at home. We would encourage those who are not sick to attend the masjid as much as you can,read ayatay kareema, and do istighfar as much as you can. In our madrasa we gather all the students in the morning before classes and we have them pray 2 Raka nafl and then recite ayatay Kareem
‎‏لا اله الا انت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين
40 times and make dua for the removal of this sickness from us. In these conditions a person needs to turn to Allah as much as he is capable and ask Allah for forgiveness for his sins.
