Daylight Saving Time means one less hour of sleep… so we’re keeping it cozy! Have your kids wear their favorite PJs and join us for pancakes and fun during Radiant Kids this Sunday. We’ll laugh, learn about Jesus, and start our morning together with sweet treats and even sweeter truth. It’s the perfect way to grow in faith and friendship (with a whole lot of syrup, too!)

Join us this Sunday!
Be sure to wear your favorite team jersey as we put the best cereals to the test. Which one will come out as this years champ? You gotta be there to find out.

I know, I know. The kids have barely eaten their way through their Halloween candy, so how could we possibly be thinking Christmas?!
The fact is, Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away and that marks Advent. Even though you still have some time before the Holidays begin, you only actually have a few Sundays. So, in order to prepare you and your family for this Christmas season, we will have the Advent Countdown to Christmas Ornaments available at the kids check in desk this Sunday and the following three Sundays.

This Advent Countdown is a fun and meaningful way to help your family focus on the true story of Christmas—the birth of Jesus! Each day, you’ll find a Bible passage that walks through the story of how God sent His Son into the world.
This is more than just a countdown—it’s a chance to help your kids understand that Jesus is the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Little by little, ornament by ornament, verse by verse, you’re telling the most wonderful story ever told.

In the busyness of life - school schedules, sports, work and everything in between - it’s easy to let intentional spiritual moments slip by. But setting aside even a few minutes each day for family devotions can make a lifelong impact.

Family devotions help us pause, connect with God and grown in faith together. This devotion time will help build a foundation for your children to understand who God is, how deeply He loves them, and how they can walk with Him daily. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. It can be a short Bible verse, a simple prayer, or even a quick conversation about God’s goodness can plant seeds that grow over time.

This week I will send you a daily 5 minute devotion. And since the school year has just begun, every devotion will have a school supply theme. But I hope you won’t stop once these emails end. Let this be the beginning of something new.

Below are some quick tips to get you started on doing your own family devotions:

Pick a consistent time (morning, dinner or bedtime)

Keep it simple - use a family devotional book or read a verse together

Practice S.O.A.P (scripture, observe, application, prayer)

Let your kids participate - ask questions, take turns praying, or even let them lead.

Be consistent, but give yourself grace - some days will go smoother than others, and that’s okay

You don’t have to have all the answers. What matters most is showing your kids that seeking God together as a family is priority.

Let’s raise a generation who knows and loves the Lord and it starts in our homes.
