Have you ever wondered how you can be a part of sharing Christ in your community?

You could host a 5 Day Club!

What is a 5 Day Club? It's basically a "backyard bible club" that happens for 5 days in a row. The Gospel is clearly taught by trained teenage Summer Missionaries.

Who can host? Individuals, churches, church groups, community groups, believers!

Where can these clubs be held? Your backyard, apartment complexes, parks, churches, community centers, the list goes on!

Leading a child to Christ is a holy moment. We often worry about having the "perfect" words or enough theological depth, but the secret isn't in the complexity of our speech. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ The Truth of the Gospel is the key that unlocks a childโ€™s heart.

๐—ง๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ ๐˜€๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ. ๐Ÿ’ก

When we use simple, clear language, we aren't "making it happen"โ€”weโ€™re simply clearing the way for the Holy Spirit to turn that key. You donโ€™t need a vocabulary full of complicated words; you just need to be a faithful messenger of the Good News.

โฌ‡๏ธ This is why we do Good News Club.

Just a couple weeks ago at Bennington Elementary, a fifth grader named Maddox came back after the Bible lesson and told a leader:

โ€œA few weeks ago at home, I knelt by my bed and asked Jesus to forgive me of my sin and be my Savior.โ€

He then asked, โ€œDoes the Holy Spirit live in me now?โ€ โ€” giving the leader an opportunity to encourage him in his new faith ๐Ÿ’› Since that conversation, the GNC team has noticed a change. Maddox is no longer goofing off during club but is listening intently and engaging with the lessons.

What a joy it is to bring the Gospel to children right where they are โ€” and to see God actively working in their hearts โœ๏ธ

CEF continues to grow and evangelize
The Open House for CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) was held recently in their new space at 208 N. Main Street, just off the square in Versailles. The new building, which was formerly the Versailles Wesleyan Church, has been refurbished giving the perfect amount of space needed for CEF. It has an open floor plan with a large space where multiple trainings are planned. Bridget Back, executive director, noted, โ€œThis building gives us the space we desperately needed.โ€-- See more in the April 7 Osgood Journal.

Happy Easter from Vermont! We celebrated the Savior in three Easter Party Clubs yesterday. In total, with six clubs across two states, we have shared the Good News with 31 kids and have seen two professions of faith. Praise the Lord!
