Every year around the feast of Epiphany, Catholics bless their homes by writing +20+C+M+B+24+ above the entrance of their homes. Do you participate in this tradition?

The "+20" denotes the initial two digits of the current year, while the letters "C," "M," and "B" represent the names of the three Wise Men: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar. Lastly, the number "24" signifies the decade and year.

It is widely believed that the acronym CMB stands for the Latin phrase "Christus mansionem benedicat," meaning "May Christ bless the house."
