A new chapter for Heritage began on Sunday. We gathered to install Joel Wood as our Lead Pastor — surrounded by friends, family, elders, and a church family ready to walk forward together. It was a holy moment. We’re honored to follow his leadership and trust God for what’s ahead.

We’re thrilled to share some of the wonderful moments from Pastor Joel’s installation service yesterday! It was such a special day for our community. Elder Phil Washburn shared an inspiring message, and Pastor Joel’s best friend, Geoffrey Turner, spoke with such heartfelt words. The elders and Jill Santos prayed over Pastor Joel, creating a powerful moment of blessing and togetherness. We’re all excited about this new chapter as a church family!

Pastor Joel leaned into “Don’t Stop Believin’” last Sunday to kick off our Summer Playlist series. In this clip, Joel spoke about God’s faithfulness in Abraham and how generations were faithful and lead to Jesus being our connection to God and this great legacy of faith.

What a wonderful Sunday we had celebrating Pastor Andy’s legacy and being challenged by him to lean more heavily into Jesus. Pastor Joel prayed over Andy thanking him for his faithfulness and later Pastor Andy and Lynn Sieberhagen graciously prayed over Pastor Joel & Ashley Wood as they step into ministry at Heritage. It’s always a great service when people come forward and continue to make intentional steps closer to Jesus, and people were responsive at both services today. Next week, we’re back into our NT260 reading plan and we start the “Summer Playlist” series. Make sure you are around on Sundays this summer!

Dustyn spoke last Sunday about A Life That Counts from 1 Timothy 4:12-16. He challenged us to follow Paul’s words to be different from the world in 5 key areas: Speech, Conduct, Love, Faith, & Purity.
