Today in Grace Kids, we learned that even though David did not look like a king on the outside, God saw his heart and chose him to be the next ruler. Jesus looked like an ordinary man to the people around Him, but He is God’s Son and the Savior of the world.

This morning in Grace Kids, we saw that Saul disobeyed God’s commands and was rejected as king. We all disobey God’s commands when we sin. Only Jesus perfectly obeyed od at all times. When we believe in Jesus, we are made right with God and accepted by Him.

As our Grace kids learned this morning, Saul defeated enemy armies for Israel but failed to obey God. Jesus defeated our greatest enemies––sin and death–and always obeyed God. All who trust in Jesus will be saved and receive changed hearts that desire to obey God!
