Easter Sunday we had 102 kids and 25 teachers for Sunday school and Easter Egg Hunt!!! So much love and joy filled the room. Grateful for all our families and volunteers!

This week, our confirmation students explored the power of prayer: what it means, how we connect with God through it, and why it matters in our daily lives. They also began working on their confirmation banners, expressing their faith in creative and meaningful ways. We can’t wait to see their finished pieces!

This week in Sunday School, our kids experienced a prayer labyrinth as we continue through the season of Lent. With each step, they slowed down, reflected, and spent intentional time in prayer. It was a beautiful reminder that drawing closer to God doesn’t require rushing, just a willing heart. 💜

This week in Confirmation, our students learned about Imago Dei—that every person is created in the image of God. We talked about what that means for how we see ourselves and how we treat others.

We also mixed in some fun games and activities to bring the lesson to life! As always, we’re so impressed by the thoughtfulness and energy these students bring each week. It’s a joy to watch them grow in their faith. ✨

What a great confirmation class yesterday! 📖✨
Our students spent time learning about the Bible—and discovering that it’s not just a history book, but a living story that still speaks into our lives today.

A big thank you to Pastor Katy for leading such a meaningful lesson, and to our confirmands for their thoughtful questions, great energy, and willingness to learn. Add in snacks, hands-on activities, and lots of discussion, and it was a really good day together!

We love having Ourday chapel with 130 preschool kids. It’s such a great collaboration between Ourday and Messiah. Each month one of the pastors or staff lead chapel. This month was Johnny Steiner teaching and singing about Jesus’ love ❤️.

What a wonderful day at our Confirmation Retreat! 💛
We spent time learning and growing in our faith, sharing lunch together, and serving through Lifeline Meal Pack service project. We also dove deeper into the meaning of Communion and Baptism and what they mean for our lives as Christians. So proud of these students and their willingness to learn, serve, and support one another. It was a truly meaningful day!

This week in Confirmation, we explored what it really means to have faith and trust. Our confirmands put those ideas into action with a blindfolded trust walk and a “steps of faith” activity—and wow, did they rise to the challenge! We continue to be amazed by their insight, honesty, and genuine hunger to learn more about their faith. 💛

Family Ministry has 160 phenomenal volunteers! Yesterday we held our annual meeting for our teachers for our Sunday School and Nursery! Grateful for each and everyone of these talented, big hearted volunteers.
