This morning a new chapter begins at Christ Church. We are excited and honored to welcome Andrew Howell as our new organist & choirmaster.

Andrew is an accomplished musician, teacher, leader, and world renowned choral director. He has served as the Music Director for the Chorus of Westerly since 2012, where he also succeeded Mr. George Kent. After taking over the reigns nearly a decade and a half ago, Andrew has overseen the Chorus’ growth and expansion in youth programs, additional ensembles, several European tours, and world premieres.

A graduate of Westerly High School, with a Masters of Music in choral conducting and organ performance from URI, a devoted husband and father, and a friend to all. We are proud to welcome Andrew to the bench!
