Two hundred fifty one years ago today, a group of farmers, tradesmen, artisans and other everyday people stood up to the most powerful empire in the world at then-unknown places called Lexington and Concord, starting the most important revolution in history.

To those Minutemen and patriots who stood on Lexington Green and Concord's North Bridge, to their successors who served at places like Saratoga, Yorktown, New Orleans, Bull Run, Gettysburg, San Juan Hill, Belleau Wood, Normandy, Iwo Jima, Inchon, Khe Sanh, Beirut, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, we say thank you for your service.

To those in harm's way today in places like Iran, we pray for your safe return to your families and your homes.

We wish all a peaceful Patriots Day.

This looks like a fun event!

This weekend is our annual Irish Night dinner. Corned Beef & Cabbage and for the kids popcorn chicken, fries and Mac & Cheese. Tickets are $25 for adults, kids 8-12 are $10 and under 8 are free. There will be a live band as well. All proceeds go towards the purchase of an AED for the church.
