What a beautiful day at St. Luke's! ✨

Our lectors at the 9:00 AM Children's Mass did an outstanding job proclaiming the Word of the Lord with confidence and faith.

Later in the day, our Welcome Committee hosted a warm gathering for new parishioners, where new friendships were formed, and wonderful food was shared.

Moments like these remind us that the Holy Spirit is truly alive and at work in our parish community. Through worship, fellowship, and hospitality, we continue to grow together as a family of faith.

If you're looking for a place to belong, we welcome you to join us. There is always a seat for you at St. Luke's. ❤️

As we celebrate the 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we hear these powerful words from the Gospel of Matthew:

"At the sight of the crowds, Jesus' heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd."

How comforting it is to know that Jesus sees us, knows our struggles, and is moved with compassion for each one of us. When life feels overwhelming, confusing, or lonely, He remains our Good Shepherd, guiding us with love and mercy.

Jesus also reminds us that "the harvest is abundant but the laborers are few." Today, let us pray for those called to serve God's people—priests, deacons, religious sisters and brothers, catechists, ministry leaders, and all who answer His call. May we also listen carefully for the ways God is inviting each of us to be His hands and feet in the world.
Lord, send laborers into Your harvest, and help us follow wherever You lead.

Congratulations to Father Christopher Aubrey on his Ordination to the Priesthood!

After years of prayer, discernment, study, and formation, Father Chris answered God's call to serve as a priest for the Diocese of Worcester. Today is not only a special day for him, but also for our parish community, which has been blessed by his presence and gifts, and for the entire Diocese.

We are grateful for the faith, dedication, and joyful witness he has shared with us. As Father Chris begins his priestly ministry in Auburn, we pray that God will bless and guide him each day. May he continue to share the love of the Father, the compassion of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit with all those he encounters on his journey.

Congratulations, Father Chris! Be assured of our prayers and gratitude as you begin this new chapter of ministry.

Today is the Feast of St. Barnabas the Apostle. Known as an early pioneer of the Church and a true "son of encouragement," St. Barnabas played a vital role in spreading the Gospel and strengthening the early Christian community. He famously welcomed and mentored St. Paul when others were hesitant, helping to shape one of Christianity's greatest missionaries.

As the patron saint of Cyprus, Antioch, and peacekeepers, St. Barnabas reminds us of the power of encouragement, trust, and faithful service. His example challenges us to support others in their God-given calling and to be instruments of peace wherever we go.

🙏 St. Barnabas, pray for us!

✨ Consecration of the World to the Sacred Heart (1898) ✨

In 1898, the confessor of Sister Mary of the Divine Heart shared her private revelations with Christ, requesting that Pope Leo XIII consecrate the entire world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This devotion would soon culminate in the global consecration in 1899, marking a profound moment in Catholic spiritual history—uniting the Church in prayer, trust, and the merciful love of Christ’s Sacred Heart.

“Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like unto Thine.” ❤️
