This week, we’re praying especially for Children’s Ministries, Adventurers, and Pathfinders—the children and young people growing in Christ, and the parents, mentors, and leaders helping guide them.

May God strengthen these ministries as they help prepare a generation to love Him, serve others, and live with purpose.

As the Atlantic Union Conference launches All Things New in OneVoice27 — Mission for All, I invite every member across our Union to join us in this 24-Hour Prayer Chain.

From Bermuda to New York and throughout New England, we are coming together with one heart, one voice, and one mission, seeking God’s presence, direction, and power.

Before we move forward in mission, we pray. Before we act, we consecrate ourselves to God.

Your words, your actions, and your personal testimony can be used by God to encourage, bless, and point someone to Him.

Celebrating 44 Years of Dedicated Service! 🙏🏽👏🏽

The Atlantic Union Conference celebrates Dr. Trevor Forbes and his lovely wife as he concludes an extraordinary 44 years of dedicated service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, including 26 years of ministry and leadership at the Atlantic Union Conference.

Throughout his years at the Atlantic Union, Dr. Forbes faithfully served in several capacities, including Undertreasurer, Director of Evangelism, and Director of Prison Ministries. Before joining the Union, he served in the Greater New York Conference, including as a church pastor and in other areas of ministry.

On September 3, the Atlantic Union administration and staff joined members of Dr. Forbes’ family, friends, and members of the Village Church, where he holds his membership, to recognize his faithful service and celebrate the impact of his ministry.

The Union staff presented special tokens of appreciation, and Atlantic Union Conference President Dr. Abraham Jules offered a prayer of dedication for Dr. Forbes and his wife as they begin this new chapter of their lives.

Dr. Forbes, thank you for 44 years of faithfulness, leadership, and commitment to God’s mission. Your legacy of service will continue to inspire others.

Beginning at midnight on September 5, let’s unite across the Atlantic Union Conference for 24 hours of prayer! 🙏🏽

Throughout the day, each conference is invited to join the prayer chain during a suggested four-hour period, creating 24 hours of continuous prayer across the Atlantic Union.

What a fitting way to begin the "All Things New in OneVoice27" initiative across the Atlantic Union!

Prayer Chain Schedule:

Bermuda Conference: 12:00 a.m.–4:00 a.m.

Greater New York Conference: 4:00–8:00 a.m.

Northeastern Conference: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Northern New England Conference: 12:00–4:00 p.m.

New York Conference: 4:00–8:00 p.m.

Southern New England Conference: 8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

Wherever you are, join the chain. Pray individually. Pray with your family. Pray with your church. Pray together as one Union, with one mission, seeking God for revival and the outpouring of His Spirit.

Day 60 | 125 Days of Prayer

Today, our prayers for Adventist education become specific. 🙏

We are asking God to provide a strong spiritual environment in our schools, protection for our students, wisdom for teachers and administrators, and provision for enrollment and financial needs.

Above all, we pray that every student entrusted to our schools will have opportunities to grow in faith and character and come to know Jesus more deeply.

Take a moment today to pray for an Adventist school, educator, student, or family by name.

New York is a city filled with millions of people, millions of stories, and millions of needs—but we believe there is one Hope that can reach every heart: Jesus.

As we continue the Hope for New York Evangelistic Series, let’s keep praying, inviting, sharing, and believing that God is still transforming lives.

The Gospel is still powerful.
The mission is still urgent.
And New York still needs HOPE. 🙏🏽
