Romans 13:10 (KJV) Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.

Love touches every aspect of our lives. It shows in our words, our actions, or even when we are completely alone. It’s the way behave toward others, including the government, that shows what type of person we are.

In today’s world the “Golden Rule”, “love your neighbor as yourself” seems to be hiding in a totally dark place. First, we had to face a pandemic that has no mercy on the human race. Now, although, not gone, it is not the center of attention, so now we have another way to show the hold that Satan has on his people. Evil is holding the nation’s attention at the moment and it is taking its evil inclinations out on innocent people. Where is the love?

When we do wrong to one another it covers every word that is said; every action that is undertaken; every attitude we express and every motive in the secret paths of our heart, that God alone can see.

What is happening in our world today shows how loveless humans can be. It shows the total lack of respect for one another and it shows how the devil can get his hooks into those who would be fighting for a cause that is absent.

Our trouble began with a demon act, which will be rectified by our laws. The other incidents, making life miserable for everyone, is all about an evil undercurrent that must be stopped. These horrific acts show no love for anyone or anything. It shows a complete lack of respect, an ignorant effort at attention, and reveal the criminal mind is always at work.

Love should rule the world, not hate. Hate is all the devil’s plan to get his “followers” down the evil path. Take a good look around, it’s working.

Let’s pray that God will hear His people’s prayers. Pray because our prayers will send Satan, and those who follow him, back to where he and they belong.

In Jesus holy name miracles can happen.

Ecclesiastes 3:1(KJV) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

It’s amazing isn’t it that God knows the number of hairs on our head and has scheduled the events in our lives. Some of these events are harder to take than others but does know what’s is best for each of us. Although there are times when we totally disagree with Him.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” is a reminder to us to trust His judgement in everything. He blesses us when we don’t realize it. He takes our silly ideas, rebellion, and our dark times and uses them to fulfil His ultimate pan and purpose which tells us Christ is in it all.

Have you ever noticed that people come in and out of our lives on a regular basis? They come in when they are most needed, and then fade out when the need is met. We are unaware of their place in His plan for us, but He knows, and He sends these pillars of strength to us, or us to them. It’s a 2-way street, but regardless it’s part of the plan for our lives.

Seasons come and seasons go, and we scarcely notice the difference. Our seasons are defined by our needs. Summer comers after the chill of winter and autumn after the hard heat of summer to lower the temperatures a bit, and then fall to prepare us for the winter ahead. Each season has a purpose just like the seasons of our lives. We have purpose and we know that without God in our lives there would be no purpose, no change, no season.

We have our work cut out for us. Each season of our lives has its responsibilities and God has given us the authority to go on, to make the season we are in the best it can be for ourselves and for those around us.

Have you noticed the changes in your seasons?
Think about it.

Hebrews 6:19-20 (KJV)
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

This passage reminds me of the hymn, “The Anchor Holds”.
I have journeyed through the long dark night
Out on the open sea, by faith alone
Sight unknown; and yet His eyes were watching me

The anchor holds
Though the ship is battered
The anchor holds
Though the sails are torn
I have fallen on my knees as I face the raging seas
The anchor holds in spite of the storm

You know, we all go thru storms. We are facing a very serious one right now. Storms are part of life, and getting through them is a real challenge but…

Our anchor, Jesus, is always there, listening to our pleas, crying with us, laughing with us, and holding on to us with all the love He has for each of us. He knows our sails are torn. He knows life has dealt us blows that knock us to the ground, and we don’t know how we are going to get up and go on but…

He knows. He knows the river of tears we’ve shed. He knows the tornadic winds that have blown thru our lives, and He knows the heartache we feel, and He is there to walk us through it. Our storms are His storms. When the waves seem to be rising over us, He is there to dry our tears and help us carry on.

He is our eternal goal. He is the captain of the sea and we are sailing the sea of life until the day when the ship anchors, and we are home with Him.

Psalm 46:10 (KJV) Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth.

The hardest thing for us to do is to be still, just hanging out in one place. But one of the most valuable things we can do is to learn how to be still and use this time to connect with God. This is the time when we lean on Him, yet we seem to find a million things to do except spend a little time with Him.

It seems that the minute we realize that we are in that valley again, the first thing we try to do is figure it out using or own means. God tells us that his thoughts are higher than our ways, but that doesn’t stop us from thinking we can somehow figure it out.
God is almighty. No matter what people face, He is still bigger than any problem you can face. We forget what 1John 4:4 tells us. That Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. Because we can’t physically see Him, we tend to forget He is there. He is there in our most trying times. He will hold your hand while you walk thru the valley, and He will love you no matter what the circumstances.
When David met Goliath, his faith that God would get him past the giant and defeat him. His faith led him thru that battle and victory was his.
Yes, the world around us is moving fast, and we seem to be spinning as well. We just need to take the time t be still and reflect on Jesus. He prayed for us in John 17:16, saying we are in this world but we are not of this world. We need to renew our minds. You can’t do that if your head is continually racing with the world around you. Let the world go just for a few minutes. Let the Holy Ghost calm you and talk to you. When you take the time to spend with Him you will be able to discern between you and Him and you will find the lasting peace we all seek.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Anyone that reads the bible will know this verse. It is one that gives us all a commitment to us from Him. He tells us to trust in the Lord and not in our own definition of what is being said.
If we trust in God, we cannot depend on our own ability to articulate everything God is doing.

First Corinthians 13:12 says, “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.” If we truly trust Him, we have to let go of self, that is forget what we want because the best laid plans of humans cannot begin to understand the awesomeness of God’s plans for us. “For the foolishness of Good is wiser than human wisdom” (1 Corinthians 1:25)

We are all facing things in our lives today that we never thought we would have to face. We pray and ask for God’s intersession from this dark time, and when we don’t see it physically we question. Don’t question. He hears your petitions, and knows that you are waiting on a response, but we do not know what His plan is for us. He has never and will never put sickness on us. The devil is the culprit for this pandemic.

The Lord is allowing this for now. Why? We don’t know. Maybe it is to bring us to a realization that we need God in our lives. We can’t fight this alone. We must have His guidance to lead us through this pandemic and closer to Him.

Your prayers are heard. He has a plan for each of us. Are you willing to let go of you and let Him lead you? We have the gift of “common sense” and should use it to take care of ourselves.

Remember, it’s “let go and let God” and you will survive this dark time.
