Thoughts on a youth horsemanship clinic?

Up to 15yo. able to bring and ride own horse.
Camp by the wagon, with meals. With adult watch care. Parent welcome.

1.5 days: Friday night, Saturday all day and Sunday til 2.

Level I: approach, halter, lead, tie, groom, saddle up and ride - learn beginning techniques and observe training methods and APPLY to your own abilities.

Sharing devotion

Your environment is shared, Luke 19:10 but Jesus was sent to save the lost. You are in control of you and what you devote your life to. Jesus is my devotion

Your devotion is never only yours. The thing you build your life around becomes the air someone else learns to breathe. Your children do not only inherit your face, your habits, or your name. They inherit your aim. They learn what matters by watching what gets your time, your fear, your anger, your loyalty, and your worship.

Some people are still carrying fire they never chose. They were handed shame before they had words for it. They were handed anger before they understood grief. They were handed condemnation and told it was grace. They were handed fear and told it was wisdom. They were handed a version of God with no tenderness in it, and now they wonder why love feels unsafe.

Not every fire in you began with you.

But once God shows it to you, it does not have to keep passing through you.

What kind of altar are our lives building in the people closest to us? What devotion is being taught before our words ever explain it?

What fire were you handed before you were old enough to choose, and are you still carrying it?

What road are you going down right now that someone near you will follow?

Fall festival fun! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped. It was a great day!
