Our Scripture focus for today was James 1:1-15 in our Sermon Series: Receive.

Here are some Sermon Takeaways from Pastor Ben:

🔸It is important to have trials and tribulations in our life so endurance can be shaped within us. Endurance will help finish the journey.

🔸When Gods goals and desires become ours, it becomes easier to endure.

🔸James tell us to ask God for wisdom and he will give it to you, but when you ask, make sure your faith is in God alone so you don’t have divided loyalty.

🔸When we stop learning about Jesus, we’ve already started to die.

🔸Don’t rely on people’s opinions to shape you, let’s Jesus shape you.

🔸Gods wisdom will never fade away. Knowledge will fade away with the world. Cling to God. Ask for Wisdom.

🔸Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean we quit. Wisdom says to keep going so we will advance.

🔸When we find wisdom, it will make you spiritually bullet proof.
