One of the best ways to grow as a disciple of Christ is to spend time with His Word. At St. Francis, our Bible studies and small group faith formation opportunities help parishioners dive deeper into Scripture, discover God's love, and build meaningful friendships with fellow believers.

Whether you're new to studying the Bible or have been doing so for years, there's a place for you. Stay tuned for announcements about our upcoming fall and spring studies!

Happy Birthday Matthew Pierson.

Thank you for answering the call to the priesthood and we continue to keep you in our prayers.

God our Father, we thank you for calling men and women to serve in your Son’s Kingdom as priests, deacons, and consecrated persons. Send your Holy Spirit to help others to respond generously and courageously to your call. May our community of faith support vocations of sacrificial love in our youth and young adults. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do at St. Francis. One of the beautiful ways we grow in faith is by helping others encounter Christ through the Mass.

Whether welcoming parishioners as a greeter, proclaiming God's Word as a lector, serving at the altar, or assisting in another liturgical ministry, your gifts can help create a prayerful and meaningful experience for our parish community. If you are interested in serving, please contact Emily Schmid at the Parish Office. We would love to help you find your place in this important ministry.

All this rain has been a blessing for our community garden—the vegetables are thriving, and so are the weeds!

Every Sunday from 3:00–5:00 pm, volunteers gather to help care for the garden that provides fresh produce to those in need in our community. Whether you have a green thumb or just a willingness to help, we'd love to have you join us. Come enjoy some fellowship, fresh air, and hopefully a little sunshine!

When many disciples found Jesus' teaching difficult and chose to walk away, He turned to the Twelve and asked, "Will you also leave?" Peter's response remains one of the most profound professions of faith in Scripture: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."

Each time we come to Mass, we echo Peter's words. We recognize Jesus as the Holy One of God, truly present in the Eucharist, and we come to receive the Bread of Life. May we continue to place our trust in Christ, knowing that He alone satisfies the deepest hunger of our hearts.

Join us in congratulating Fr. Pins on the 20th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood today!

For two decades, Fr. Pins has faithfully answered God's call, sharing the love of Christ and the Eucharist through his ministry, leadership, and love of God. We are grateful for the many ways he has helped us grow closer to Jesus and for his service to the Church.

Make sure you congratulate him when you see him.

Life can sometimes feel heavy. We face struggles, disappointments, and moments when the path ahead seems unclear. In those moments, remember that Christ is our light.

When darkness surrounds you, turn your eyes to Jesus. He walks beside you, strengthens you, and reminds you that no darkness is greater than His love. Trust in Him, and let His light guide your way.

There is no stain too great for God's mercy.

In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Christ washes away our sins, heals our hearts, and makes us new. No matter how long it has been, Confession is an opportunity to lay down your burdens, experience His forgiveness, and walk away renewed by His grace.

Join us for Confession:
✝️ Wednesdays at 12:00 pm
✝️ Saturdays from 8:00–9:00 am
✝️ 30 minutes before each weekend Mass

Come experience the freedom, peace, and joy that comes from God's mercy.

God loved us so much that He gave us His only Son. That same love is the love we are called to share with others—not only with those who are easy to love, but also with those who challenge us, frustrate us, or test our patience.

This week, let us remember that every person we encounter is a beloved child of God. May we strive to see others through the eyes of Christ and love as He loves.
