DAY 8: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.”

Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of all to feel welcomed and valued through liturgy, education, and fellowship within our Sacred Heart Community.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.” Behold, in your name, I ask the Father for the grace of all to feel welcomed and valued through liturgy, education, and fellowship within our Sacred Heart Community.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away.” Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of all to feel welcomed and valued through liturgy, education, and fellowship within our Sacred Heart Community.

Monday, June 8th was an exciting first day of Vacation Bible School at Sacred Heart! Our parish was filled with energy, laughter, and faith as children gathered to learn more about God's love through songs, games, crafts, and activities. We are grateful to our amazing volunteers who helped make the day so special and can't wait for the fun and faith-filled adventures still to come this week!

12 Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - one for each day leading to the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 12th!

As the month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops prepares to consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we are invited in a special way to draw close to His loving Heart. Take time this month to pray, reflect, and grow in devotion through the 12 Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In the 1670s, Jesus appeared to a French nun, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, and revealed His Sacred Heart along with twelve promises for all who honor and trust in Him. These promises are a beautiful reminder of Christ’s infinite love, mercy, and desire to pour out grace upon His people.

Promise #9: I will bless every place in which an image of My Heart is exposed and honored.

Vacation Bible School Families!! Be sure to join us on Friday, June 12th for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Feast Day Celebration! The VBS kids will be doing a SPECIAL performance on Friday night at 5:30 pm!

All are welcome to stay for the Party in the Parking Lot with food trucks (available for purchase) including Campbell's State Fair Corn Dogs, Graziano Bros, El Burrito Loco, Hawaiian Grill, and Vintage Road Coffee Co. The LIVE music from the Heath Alan Band begins at 6:30 pm with face painting, a bounce house, and beer & wine for the grownups!
