Pride is taken in being Christ centered, mission minded, community minded, and welcoming! Paul's United Methodist Church is a 150 year old, close knit, small town church in West Valley NY in Cattaraugus County. We are part of the Cornerstone District of the Upper New York Conference. We welcomed our Interim Pastor, Cindy Hull in October 2021. Our in-person worship services are held Sunday mornings
at 10:45 am and our services are also available to view on YouTube. Meetings:
• Adult Sunday School held from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to Sunday worship service
• Adult Bible Study held with members of church and community including St John the Baptist RC Church each Thursday at 10:00 am
• United Methodist Women's Group held the third Monday of the month from 3:00 to 5:00 pm
• United Methodist Men's Group breakfast held with Delevan United Methodist Church at various restaurants on the second Saturday of each month
We perform community outreach projects such as:
• Sponsoring and preparing several free community dinners throughout the year (drive-thru for the time being)
• Co-hosting Vacation Bible School with St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church here in West Valley every summer for children 3 years through 6th grade
• Sponsoring a Giving Tree at Christmas time
• Being an active part of LOVE INC
• Preparing and serving our famous annual family style roast beef Election Day dinner as a fundraiser. (Take-out only in 2020)
