What if your everyday conversations could change someone's eternity?

In our Suday sermon this week, we will be emphasizing that mission doesn't just happen at church—it happens in coffee shops, break rooms, neighborhoods, and dinner tables. Just like Jesus turned ordinary conversations into eternal moments (think the woman at the well, Nicodemus, and even the thief on the cross), we are called to do the same.

The Apostle Paul gives us the blueprint in Colossians 4:2-6: pray for open doors, walk wisely, make the most of every opportunity, and let our speech be gracious and seasoned with salt. It's not about winning arguments—it's about winning people. It's not about forcing faith into every interaction—it's about genuinely caring, listening well, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us toward what matters most.

Before every conversation, try this simple prayer: "Lord, help me recognize how this conversation matters to you today." You might be surprised how God opens doors you never noticed before.

Friends, I am so excited to announce that the old siding has been removed from the church building in preparation for the new siding to go on!

As I reflect on many of our past Sunday's together, I am reminded of how God is at work transforming us.

Much like the renewal happening to our church building. Just as the old siding has been stripped away to reveal what needs strengthening underneath, God is preparing each of us for the mission He has placed before us.

In our sermon this Sunday, we will explore what it means to be sent by Jesus into everyday life as His disciples.

Just as the Father sent Jesus into the world, Jesus now sends us into the ordinary places where we live, work, and interact with people.

It is my hope that we will discover together that ministry is not confined to church buildings or religious activities, it is what happens in workplaces, neighborhoods, schools, and homes; wherever God has already planted us.

The mission field is not somewhere distant; it is right here where we are. And we do not carry out this mission in our own strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us.

It is my goal this week, to encourage you to pray and ask God: "Who can I bring Jesus to today?" Look for the divine appointments He has already arranged in your path. Be ready to listen, encourage, pray with someone, or share your testimony of how Jesus has changed your life.

May you walk confidently, knowing that the same Spirit who empowered the early church lives in you and goes with you into every conversation, every relationship, and every opportunity.

Hello friends! This coming Sunday we are going to explore Matthew 4:1-22, where Jesus calls ordinary fishermen with a simple invitation: "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Notice He doesn't say "fix yourself first" or "get your theology degree." He simply says "follow me."

Here's the beautiful truth: Jesus transforms us AS we follow Him. We don't have to be perfect, polished, or impressive. We just need to be willing. And as we walk with Him daily, He shapes us into people who naturally bring His love and truth to others.

This week, pray a simple prayer each morning: "Lord, show me one person I can bring Jesus to today." Then pay attention. You might be surprised how God uses ordinary faithfulness to accomplish extraordinary things.

Please Join us this week, in person or online as we seek to learn how to gather in order to scatter and to be everyday disciples.
