(See post below for details)

09/14/2026

ATTENTION: The Call Committee and Church Council unanimously approved calling a Pastoral Candidate. The candidate will lead our worship service on Sunday, October 11th at 9:30 AM. All congregation members are requested to attend this service in person (if possible). There will be no live streaming of the service on Facebook on that day.

Immediately following the service, a Congregation Meeting will be held for members to vote on hiring the candidate as full-time pastor and whether to adopt their compensation package.

Pastor Mark Lingel, representing the New England Synod, will preside over the congregation meeting and vote. Voting will be as follows: an approval vote of two-thirds of congregation members attending in-person is required to hire the new pastor.

A simple majority of members present is required to approve the compensation package. In accordance with New England Synod guidelines, all congregation members wishing to vote must be physically present. Online and proxy voting will not be allowed.

On Saturday, October 10th an informal social gathering to introduce the Pastoral Candidate will be held at Grace Lutheran . Times yet to be determined.
