🎁Celebrating God’s Diverse Gifts this Sunday🎁
The Church is like a table set up at a party, piled with gifts! God has lots of tasks, and furnishes of us with strengths and talents so that God is doing good works in and through us. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Holy Spirit is the source of them all. Everyone possesses one! God’s diverse gifts, given to people of all ages, will be celebrated this Sunday, May 31 in our Faith in Action service. People of all ages will participate in activities set up in the Sanctuary, and we will all receive a gift bag to share with someone else!
The gift of service through sharing special dishes will be highlighted this Saturday, May 30, at our community event. “Men Who Cook” takes place from 1 to 3 pm in Parish Hall. The public has been invited, please invite friends and family! There is no charge for admission; a free-will offering is appreciated. Tasters can sample diverse and tasty foods brought in by men who cook! There is more information about this event on our page.🥘
Church without Walls will be held, as always, at noon. This Sunday, St. David’s Episcopal Church members will lead a brief time of worship and distribute bag lunches. Please think about providing a bag lunch or two next Sunday, June 7, when we once again host this ministry. Thank you!💙
We’ve added an exciting gathering to our summer potluck supper Wednesdays - WIGGLE Worship! From 5 to 5:30 pm, we will offer a family friendly service and invite families to join us for the meal that will follow at 5:30. Summer Wednesdays will take place June 3, July 15, and August 8. We hope to see you there, whether you wiggle in worship or not!🎉
