Vine Moms is an awesome fellowship of mothers, in all seasons of life, who are focused on sharing, supporting, challenging, and loving each other and each other's children.
Using Jesus' wisdom and love as our guide, we wade through a variety of parenting and personal topics like discipline, home life, routines, and caring for ourselves.
John 15:5 says, “I am the Vine and you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
We are moms of that Vine.

We are intentionally and cheerfully a "kids at your feet" group. That means that
children are ALWAYS welcome to attend and play while we meet. Our meetings provide an awesome opportunity for mothers to practice and refine their ability to fellowship, pray, learn and care for themselves with kids running around, asking for snacks, and needing tending to. We don't want mothers delaying their spiritual and emotional needs until their kids are sleeping, at school, or worse, fully grown. We want them caring for themselves NOW.
Monthly Schedule-
•2nd and 4th Wednesday Morning from 10am-12pm

We're back!!!
Join us for the re-launch of Vine Moms, every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 10am-12pm, now meeting at the church in the barn.
All mom's, expectant, new, and seasoned, and their children are welcome.
Our first topic will simply be getting to know each other, catching up and we'll share some encouragement from Scripture and prayer and hopefully some worship.
What to expect-
*we will be meeting outside or in the church in the barn
*this is a group to get really good at socializing while kids are playing all around us. We help our kids play nicely with others and we help mom's have conversations with others before their kid's turn 18, ha ha.
*we pray, read scripture, and intentionally encourage each other with our walks with God. From time to time we'll worship and sing together.
*we ask for anyone who has been sick to take a week off and join us next time
*we will discuss a new topic each time we meet covering a variety of things that affect us as mothers, women, and sisters in Christ.

Sing joyfully to the Lord , you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars ; he puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord ; let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord , the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth— he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the Lord ; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord , even as we put our hope in you.
Psalm 33:1‭, ‬4‭-‬15‭, ‬18‭-‬22 NIV

Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfull

We know what you're thinking. "What on earth are these little black seeds they gave me at Vine?" Well...here are the details.
Heavenly Blue Morning Blooming Vine Seeds - Wonderful Climbing Heirloom Vine
When to plant:
Morning glories are easily grown from seed and can be started indoors four to six weeks before the last spring frost. If sown directly into the garden, plant after any threat of frost and once the ground has warmed up to 64 F.

Where to plant:
Pick a site that gets plenty of sun. They will tolerate some very light shade, but bloom their best in full sun. Because of their rapid growth, choose a location that will allow for its mature size. Morning glories will readily self-seed if allowed, so make sure they are in an area that is accessible for cutting back spent blooms before they go to seed or an area where self-seeding is acceptable. Be considerate of neighboring yards and where the seeds might fall.

How to plant:
If planting from seed, file seeds to break the outer shell and soak for 24 hours prior to planting to help with germination. Cover lightly with one-quarter to one-half inch of soil and water thoroughly. When transplanting, be careful of the roots, as they don’t like being disturbed. Water deeply for several days after transplanting to help the roots get established in their new home. Helpful hint: If starting from seed, use peat or other disintegrating pots that can be planted directly in the soil to lessen the stress on the root system.

Other:
Morning glories grow quite rapidly once established, up to 12 feet or more in one season.
