Saint James was founded in 1928 as a congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and a daughter congregation of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Today, Saint James is a member of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. Three staff pastors serve the church with additional administrative and music staff. We offer Sunday Bible classes and Tuesday Bible classes throughout the week and as well as pro

grams for music and other social and service groups. Take a look at our calendar to find out what is going on this week! Worship Services are held at 9:00 am, followed by a 10:30 am Adult Bible class, Youth Bible class, and Sunday School. Monday Worship (with contemporary music) is held year-round at 6:30 pm. There is no dress code, and while some choose to wear their ‘Sunday best’ others wear jeans and t-shirts. We just want you to feel welcome. Saint James is located at 460 West Annapolis Street in West St. Paul, Minnesota (55118) on the intersection of Annapolis and Cherokee Avenue. We are easily accessible by taking the Highway 13 exit from 35E. Go east on Highway 13. Turn Right on Annapolis and the church will be on your right.

Almighty God, grant that the birth of Your only-begotten Son in the flesh may set us free from the bo***ge of sin; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Merciful God, Your Son, Jesus Christ, was lifted high upon the cross that He might bear the sins of the world and raw all people to Himself. Grant that we who glory in His death for our redemption may faithfully heed His call to bear the cross and follow Him, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Bring your friends and family to our Church Picnic!

Grab your lawn chairs/picnic blankets and come enjoy a service in the park followed by a meal, music, and fun activities!

There will be grilled chicken breasts, hamburgers, brats and hot dogs. Baked beans, potato salad, chips, beverages and ice-cream treats will also be provided.

Almighty God, grant that in the midst of our failures and weaknesses we may be restored through the passion and intercession of Your only-begotten Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

06/06/2026

Heavenly Father, Your beloved Son befriended frail humans like us to make us Your own. Teach us to be like Jesus’ dear friends from Bethany, that we might serve Him faithfully like Martha, learn from Him earnestly like Mary, and be ultimately raised by Him like Lazarus; through their Lord and ours, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

06/05/2026

Almighty God, pour out Your Holy Spirit upon Your Church in every land, that by the service and sacrifice of many Your holy name may be glorified and Your kingdom enlarged; through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

06/04/2026

Almighty God, by Your great goodness mercifully look upon Your people that we may be governed and preserved evermore in body and soul; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Almighty and ever-living God, You fulfilled Your promise by sending the gift of the Holy Spirit to unite disciples of all nations in the cross and resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. By the preaching of the Gospel spread this gift to the ends of the earth; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
