🏐 What a day for Crown of Life volleyball! 🏐

All four COL volleyball teams hit the court today at the Bloomington Lutheran Volleyball Tournament, and it was a day full of great volleyball, teamwork, and fun!

⭐ 5th Grade: Played their very first games of the season and showed off some great serving!

⭐ 6th Grade: Won 7 out of 8 sets and had plenty of bump, set, spike moments!

⭐ 7th Grade: With only 5 players, they showed incredible determination and finished in 3rd place!

🏆 8th Grade: Went undefeated all day and brought home the championship!

We thank God for a fun day of competition, the opportunity to use the gifts He has given our athletes, and the teamwork and sportsmanship they showed throughout the tournament.

Way to go, Raiders! We’re so proud of all four teams!

📚✨ And just like that… we’re back!

The first day of school at Crown of Life is here! From big smiles and little backpacks to finding desks, settling in, and seeing familiar faces again, it was a wonderful way to begin a brand-new school year.

We also gathered together for our opening chapel service, placing this year and every student, teacher, and family in God’s hands.

✏️📚 A little glimpse into the excitement of School Supply Drop-Off Night!

New desks, new supplies, new teachers, and SO many excited faces! We loved welcoming our Crown of Life families back into the school and seeing our principal greet each family at the door.

🦋 Sometimes you just have to stop and look around.

Tonight at School Supply Drop-Off, there was a little bit of magic happening right outside our doors. You may have noticed the butterflies dancing from flower to flower in the garden by our flagpole. At one point, someone counted as many as 10 butterflies fluttering through the flowers!

And a very special thank you to everyone who works so hard to care for our gardens and keep these flowers looking so beautiful. Your time and effort create a space where our school community can enjoy God’s creation and tonight, the butterflies certainly seemed to enjoy it too!

“How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.” — Psalm 104:24

What a beautiful reminder that even on an ordinary school night, God is always surrounding us with little glimpses of His goodness.

❤️🌎 Packing Love, One Meal at a Time

Today, members of Crown of Life Church gathered at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan to work together, pack meals, and share the love of Jesus with families in Guatemala.

And in the sweetest bit of random chance, St. Croix Lutheran Academy happened to be volunteering at the exact same time! So instead of two groups, we joined together as ONE BIG team of nearly 70 people!

Together, we packed: 📦 120 boxes &
🍚 25,920 meals

We are so thankful for every person who gave up a little bit of their Saturday morning to serve others and make a difference around the world. What a wonderful reminder that when we come together, God can use our hands to do something BIG.

This Sunday, August 23, our church and school family will gather for a meaningful morning as we welcome Mrs. Diersen our new 3rd grade teacher.

🕤 9:10–9:45 AM - Get to Know Mrs. Diersen
Mr. Mielke will lead a fun Q&A to help us learn more about Mrs. Diersen and her husband, Kincaid. Snacks and fellowship included.

⛪ 10:30 AM - Installation Service
Celebrate her installation during our worship service.
