Eid Mubarak Everyone!

Eid Prayer will be tomorrow, Wednesday May 27th at the ICTC.
Takbeerat will start at 7:30 am followed by Eid Prayer at 8:00am. Men and women are requested to bring their own Prayer mats.
Women will be praying in the old ICTC building and men will be praying in the new Main hall.

Bring your favorite snack to share with the community.

Please follow the parking guidelines in the attached image to avoid hassle.

We are deeply saddened about the active shooter incident at the San Diego Islamic Center. May Allah have mercy on the departed souls and ease the pain of their families.

Assalamu’alaikum Everyone.

In the State of Washington, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are officially recognized state observances, similar to Lunar New Year, according to legislation signed into law (RCW 1.16.050) this past year. CAIR has prepared this letter for the educators reminding them of the law and their responsibilities to acknowledge the Islamic Holidays during their planning for exams, excused absence and other events. Please fee free to share this letter with the teachers and school officials if you are concerned their absence would not be excused on the day of Eid -ul-Adha.

On behalf of ICTC Comunity, Sister Sabiha has connected with the office of Dr. Redinger - Superintendent Richland School District. They confirmed that students will absolutely have an opportunity to make up any tests they miss during the Eid Day.

You can send this letter to your school to request accommodation.

Assalamu'alaikum!

At the Islamic Center, one of our core goals is to strengthen our community through concentrated support for Muslim Families and Businesses by leveraging ICTC platform. As a part of this vision, we have partnered with your favorite restaurant, Lazeez Mediterranean, to offer lunches for purchase during/after Friday Prayer at the ICTC (Starting 4/24 - Outside near the Entrance). We hope our community will find this initiative helpful; specially those who prioritize Friday prayer during their busy work-schedule/lunch breaks.

Please support this initiative through your purchases and your feedback; this would allow us to continue exploring and expanding partnerships in other areas. Part of your support will benefit ICTC as well.
