The Mission,Inc.

The Mission,Inc. RESTORING MEN-REBUILDING LIVES-STRENGTHENING FAMILIES Located at the old Bryan Brothers Packing Plant, The Mission sits atop the hill as a beacon of HOPE.

After years of sitting vacant, the Bryan Foods training facility and original (replica) slaughterhouse have been purchased to fulfill the vision given to Richard "Dickie" Bryan, son of the founder. The Mission operates solely on donations, grants, and fundraisers. The Men’s Center at The Mission assist men, 18 years and older, from all walks of life who recognize their need to make a life change.

They learn to walk a productive path away from drugs, alcohol and/or other life controlling issues. Men learn a healthy way of living that can help break the cycle of destructive behavior.

We are excited for our next group of men as they begin electrical classes today! ⚡
Over the next few months, they will receive training and certification in basic residential and commercial wiring, and motor controls. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with East Mississippi Community College and the opportunity it gives these men to develop valuable skills that will help them succeed beyond the program.
We are currently working with EMCC to add more on-site job skill training for the men in the program! Such an exciting time as God continues to open doors for these amazing warriors.

What an honor it was to be with our friends at North Carrollton Baptist Church and share about the hope we have found through Jesus Christ!
We had a wonderful day as the Mission Men and several graduates shared their stories of redemption, transformation, and God's faithfulness in their lives.
A heartfelt thank you to North Carrollton for hosting us today. We truly loved spending time with you all and are grateful for your hospitality, encouragement, and support. May God continue to bless your church and community!

Got a case of the ME-monster? 👹

We find that one of the best ways to defeat the ME-monster is to follow Jesus' example and serve someone in need. Jesus didn't come to be served, He came to serve.
When we stop focusing on ourselves and start looking for ways to help others, the ME-monster starts to shrink and the Christ in us grows 🙌🏻🪜🔨🌳🧹

Whether we're building, cleaning, lending a hand, or encouraging one another, we're stronger when we serve together. 🤝

Less me. More HIM. More OTHERS. ❤️

“God knows you by name”
Thank you Brother Matt for a powerful message today!

We are so grateful for Kolola Springs Baptist Church and all they do to come alongside us to support the amazing men God entrust to us!

As a man begins his journey with us, there are so many emotions involved. Maybe for the first time in decades, he will be without the vices he has depended on. No drugs, no alcohol, no cell phone, no ni****ne..., and suddenly he finds himself in a place that feels completely foreign.

Life change is NEVER easy. It is not supposed to be. With all that true change brings, the forces of hell rage against it while the forces of heaven cheer for it. Unless you have walked through it yourself, it can be hard to fully understand.

Will you please take a moment to pray? This warrior needs us all battling for him until he has the strength to battle for himself. His life, and the many lives he will one day touch, could depend on it.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Lessons from real life: Kitchen “Refresher” 🍋

On the surface, what looked like the need for a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint turned out to be much more. Underneath the surface was hidden dirt, damage, and rot — and it has taken time, patience, and a willingness to dig deep into the mess.

What was expected to be a one-week kitchen refresh has now turned into a month-long repair 🛠️💦and cleanup project. But there is a lesson in that. Real restoration rarely happens with quick fixes. The joy comes on the other side of taking the time to clean it out completely, repair it properly, and invest in the future of those who will use it. 🤝

We are thankful for the reminder of how important it is to steward well this incredible campus God has blessed us with. 💙 Sometimes the work is harder and longer than expected, but as in our own lives, lasting change is always worth the investment. 😄
