We had a great day together at FBC West Point Sunday.

Student Pastor Joseph Blount continued our Kingdom Come series through Matthew as we looked at Matthew 4:1–11 and the temptation of Jesus. We were reminded that Jesus understands our weakness, has won the victory over temptation, and gives us hope in every battle we face.

Yesterday at FBCWP, we walked through Matthew 3:13–17 and saw the Trinity at work as Jesus began His public ministry.

The Son stands with sinners.
The Spirit signals a new creation.
The Father declares the King.

Jesus did not step into the waters of baptism because He needed repentance. He stepped into the place of sinners to fulfill all righteousness on behalf of His people.
