Church Picnic - CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST

In light of rain in the forecast for Saturday, October 3, 2026, we must cancel this year’s Annual Church Picnic. As a result, we will be scheduling a fun night with our youth and a fellowship for the entire church. The details for those functions will be announced soon. Of course, we will complete the Pastoral Anniversary weekend in the way that has been planned on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. after our Sunday School which begins at 9:30 a.m. See ya N’Side on Sunday and invite family and friends. One Hour This Evening Is Booked - See Ya At Bible Study

What’s in the Book is “on the books” for tonight. Our regularly scheduled Bible Study will begin at 6:00 p.m. this evening and I just know that we will be blessed by what we discuss and learn, as well as the fellowship. A thought-provoking lesson has been drafted and I await your input. Also, you never know what might happen at Bible Study. So, let family and friends know that you are booked for one hour tonight and invite them to join you. See ya N’Side! ORR

Some Important Things, But Nothing Better! See Ya Tonight

Like all of you, when I start each day, I usually have a mental list (and sometimes calendar entries) of all that I have to do. Some tasks are more important than other tasks, but each day usually has important stuff that has to be accomplished. But almost every Wednesday, the item that drives my day, and is glowing on my calendar, is Bible Study at NSCC. Not because of me, but because of our good Father. We get to share the details of His favor. And because of you. I get to fellowship with you, discuss the Word with you, and we lift up a prayer together mid-week. Some things need to be presented to heaven before Sunday. So, I have something important to do today; that is, I have to be present and involved in Bible Study. Indeed, we are in store for a particularly interesting class this evening. See ya N’Side and invite family and friends because, well, there is nothing better to do. Not a thing. ORR
