Just as diamonds are created only through intense compression deep within the earth, God is using every challenge to shape something precious within your soul. Remain steadfast under pressure today.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33

This verse comes in the middle of Jesus’ teaching about worry. The crowd was anxious about food, clothing, and tomorrow’s troubles—the same concerns that consume us today. Yet Jesus doesn’t dismiss their needs; He redirects their focus.

The word “first” is revolutionary. Jesus isn’t saying earthly needs don’t matter—He’s saying order matters. When we chase after material provision while neglecting spiritual devotion, we exhaust ourselves and miss the Source of all blessing. But when we prioritize God’s kingdom and His righteousness, we align ourselves with the One who already knows our every need. First things truly do unlock all things. The Provider comes before the provision.
