CROS Ministries spotlights St. Christopher’s Pioneer Club!

Volunteer Spotlight - St. Christopher's Pioneer Club
Without fail, every third Monday, members of the St. Christopher’s Pioneer Club dedicate two hours of their morning at our warehouse in Lake Worth Beach to ensure access to healthy food for all in need. Whether sorting through in-kind donations or packing bags of food for distribution at our pantries, they do whatever is needed.

Their time together goes beyond volunteering for CROS. They celebrate birthdays, share treats, laugh together, and find comfort in prayer during difficult times, such as the recent passing of their church organist. Their genuine care for one another is evident in every moment they spend together, supporting both their community and each other. Emily, CROS’ Director of Outreach, who works closely with the Pioneer Club and other volunteer groups, believes that volunteering is more than just supporting an organization. It is a meaningful experience that enriches the lives of the volunteers as well. It fosters social connections, provides physical activity, offers emotional support, and builds lasting friendships. Through service, the Pioneer Club strengthens their community while finding joy and fulfillment in giving back.

Want to get involved? We offer both ongoing and flexible volunteer opportunities. Visit our website at https://www.crosministries.org/volunteer or contact Emily at [email protected].
