Last week, it was an honor to help celebrate the opening of Temple Israel's new home here in West Palm Beach.
Founded in 1923, Temple Israel has been a cornerstone of Jewish life in Palm Beach County for more than a century. As the county's first Jewish congregation and West Palm Beach's only Reform synagogue, it has played an important role in shaping the spiritual and cultural fabric of our community. Through generations of change, it has remained a place where people gather in faith, build community, mark life's milestones, and support one another. And today represents an exciting new chapter in that story.
After more than 75 years at its former home, Temple Israel is entering a new era — one that strengthens its position as a Center for Jewish Life in our community.
Congratulations to everyone who helped make this day possible. May this new home be filled with worship, learning, fellowship, and celebration for generations to come.
