Ever been there? Everything coming at you from all directions. Can't go forward—enemies ahead. Can't go backward—enemies behind. Stuck in the middle, paralyzed. It's called decision fatigue and fear paralysis. The Israelites at the Red Sea: nowhere to go, giant army approaching, all options look bad. So they wanted to go back to slavery in Egypt—at least it was familiar! Then there's the restaurant menu with endless options. What happens? You freeze. You can't decide because too many choices create anxiety. Then there are the voices in your head—"you should have done this," "why didn't you do that," "everything's falling apart." All these things coming at you from everywhere. THAT'S when fear takes over. THAT'S when you forget God is fighting for you

Honest confession: Pastor Tim puts MORE trust in his GPS than in God's presence system. GPS gives him the comfort of knowing the next turn, seeing the map, not having to think. But here's the problem: his GPS has LED HIM WRONG—multiple times. Takes him the long way. Doesn't know parking lot shortcuts. Gets confused. Yet God ALWAYS leads him where he NEEDS to be. But God doesn't give him turns in advance. God expects him to KEEP MOVING and trust. The truth? We place FALSE trust in FAULTY systems rather than building DEEPER trust in TRUE systems. We trust our phones more than our God. We trust our plans more than His presence. We trust what we can see and control more than what requires faith. What are you putting more trust in than God?

In 1967, missionary Doug Nichols was stuck in an Indian sanatorium, sick with tuberculosis, and feeling completely useless. Then at 2am, one small act of compassion changed everything. Sometimes the most powerful sermon you'll ever preach has no words. | Matthew 28:16-20 | The Great Commission

The United Methodist Church's unique system of deploying clergy has its roots in the earliest days of Methodism.

A pastor stops at a diner he's never been to before — frustrated, behind on his sermon. A tired waitress named Gloria asks him a question she'd carried for three decades. What happens next is a reminder that the mission doesn't wait for you to be ready. | Matthew 28:16-20 | The Great Commission

We love our Amigos!

Officially 11 years since our first Amigos worship! Our original 3 Amigos: Toby, Ashley, and Katie. Did you know they nicknamed themselves “The 3 Amigos” and since then the nickname “Amigos” has just stuck for our adults with disabilities!

Peter once answered Jesus PRIVATELY: "You are the Messiah." At Pentecost, Peter answers PUBLICLY—not with WORDS but with ACTIONS. He stands up before a hostile crowd. Not because Peter suddenly became impressive. Not because the threat of death was gone. But because his new identity became ANCHORED in resurrection life. Matthew 16: Peter answers privately. Acts 2: Peter lives the answer publicly. Pentecost is Peter GROWING INTO the confession he once barely understood. Here's what Peter reveals: Resurrection life doesn't STOP at believing the tomb is empty. It STARTS there, but it keeps coming. Anyone can SAY "Jesus is the Messiah." Resurrection life begins when you LIVE like death is defeated, the impossible is possible, and pressure no longer defines you—it shapes you.
Ready to live your answer publicly? Full sermon on becoming who Christ is creating!
