The Fire and the Glory— I have had a couple of encounters with the fire of God visiting me recently. I’m not going to detail them but I will explain what God has shared with me through them.
One characteristics of the fire of God is it is VERY SERIOUS! Now everything about God is serious but there are attributes of His character that have a more gentler nature. The fire is not to be played with. In real life, if you play with fire you get burned and it is just serious and more in the spirit.
One of the things that happens when you encounter the fire of God is it will measure how on fire you are for God. It searches the heart and reveals the measure of fire that exist on your life. It also measures the works of your hands. Based on the works that are in obedience and in line with the will of God, the fire of God consumes them and those works that are NOT in direct obedience to His will and way will burn up in the fire and the other works that are in obedience to His will and way will remain. Example the 3 Hebrew boys were not devoured by the fire.
This is why the fire did not devour the bush in book of Exodus. The fire can’t overtake what is in obedience to God.
One of the things that the fire of God comes to reveal is the obedience to God in your life.
“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

The fire has a direct assignment to accompany the word of God. When it is not sent where it was directed it will consume you. You will be judged by the fire that was never sent.
One of the patterns you will see in the Bible is before revival could come to a people, the fire proceeds it. What God does is, He makes his ministers a flame of fire and out of the fire they carry revival.
They in turn take the revival they carry to a people and that fire begins to break out causing the glory of the Lord to be revealed. This process is meant to cause a wild fire that cannot be contained that the glory of the Lord be revealed. Example in the Bible, the day of Pentecost and the cloven tongues of fire appeared upon their heads. About 3,000 people were baptized and added to the church that day.
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habbakuk 2:14
The glory has to cover the earth!
Don’t be surprised if you are met with fire experiences and you are one of the ones meant to carry the fire of revival. You will see fire revivals break out all across the land because the glory of the Lord must be revealed and knowledge of the glory of the Lord must cover the earth says the Lord.
