Today I was talking to one of my clients, who is a psychologist and counselor, and she congratulated me on my book.

I started to downplay it and said, “Well… it’s Christian, but…”

She immediately stopped me and said:
“No, no girl — don’t do that. OWN that.”

And honestly? She was right.

Sometimes we shrink the very thing God gave us because we’re afraid of how people will receive it. We shrink the value of it because of what others think, but your story, your voice, your calling, and your gifts deserve to take up space.

So here’s your reminder today:
