In the church, we are not complying with uniformity to be be united, but having things in common. Here are seven of them. 4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4
That is seven ones. The church joins the Godhead and the hope of heaven in baptism. We are to maintain that unity.
We are given many gifts: the foundation of the Apostles, evangelists, teachers, pastors,.. to equip us for the work of the ministry and building up the body until we all reach unity and maturity. Thank you, Father for Steven and teachers . Jesus, the head of the church, is already mature and our standard, the church can grow, The ways to transform to being more like him are here.

This unity is how we will help others come to know Him.
35By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35
Our faith is based on sound doctrine. This is very important in a time of many false doctrines and precepts of men, which defy unity. Look at I Tim 6:3-4
1As a prisoner in the Lord, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received: 2with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3and with diligence to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
