This was Tuesdays Bible Reading but I forgot to post. I realized I left out Tamar in the list of women mentioned by name in the linage of Christ. I confess I didn’t not do my Bible Reading yesterday (Wednesday) I have no excuse that really holds water. I’m not proud of that. But I’m not going to let it keep today from being a day that I can get closer to Him.

To get to know Jesus, you learn more about Him. And to learn more about Him, you start at the beginning of His life.
It is interesting to note that only 3 women (besides Mary) that are mentioned in the lineage: Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba. 2 Gebtiles and an adulteress. Not exactly the best choices for a Jewish family tree. But God chose flawed, broken women to be in His Son’s earthly lineage. How much more can He do with you? I would love to hear where you all are reading in and what topics you’re currently studying. I will make a special post on Wednesdays just for prayer requests.

Welcome to the group! I created this group originally to help me stay accountable to my daily devotions and prayer time with the Lord. As Wives, Moms, Caregivers etc., we can become so busy we forgot to invest in our relationship with our Best Friend, Jesus. I’m hoping we can encourage each other and keep each accountable.
