Almighty God, Creator of all people and nations. On this solemn 25th anniversary of September 11th, we gather our hearts to remember. A quarter of a century has passed, yet we still hold the memories of that fateful morning with deep reverence and sorrow.
We lift up in prayer the nearly 3,000 precious souls who were taken from us. We entrust them to your eternal care, praying that they find everlasting peace. We ask for your continued comfort and peace to wrap around the families, friends, and communities who have carried the heavy burden of loss for twenty-five years.
We give thanks for the heroic first responders, military personnel, and everyday citizens who ran toward danger, showing us the heights of human generosity, courage, and service. We pray for the healing of those who still carry the physical and emotional scars of that day.
Lord, as we look upon a world that remains fractured by conflict, we ask that you quiet our fears and break those hearts of stone. Help us to reject hatred, bigotry, and violence. Inspire our leaders with Your wisdom and guide us to stand together in unity.
We pray this prayer in The Mighty Name of Jesus.
Amen.
