House of Faith-The Barn

House of Faith-The Barn Full Gospel Church - Saturday Night Service @ 7:00 pm In what was once a little horse barn now thrives a community of believers.

You can still see where the horses used to gnaw on the posts in the old stalls as they anxiously awaited their next meal. Where the odor of livestock did once linger now resides the fragrance of the Holy Spirit and the only thing that the new tenants hunger for is a touch from the Lord Our God. Our Statement of Faith

•We believe in one God, Maker of all things and being in Trinity of Father, Son

, and Holy Spirit.

•We believe that Jesus of Nazareth was the Son of God and became incarnate when He was begotten by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He is true God and true man.

•We believe that the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of Faith and conduct.

•We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.

•We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus.

•We believe in sanctification by the blood of Jesus, in personal holiness of heart and life, and in separation from the world.

•We believe in Divine healing through faith and that healing is included in the atonement.

•We believe in water baptism and power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1 and 2), and in the orderly operation of the nine spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12-14).

•We believe in water baptism as a covenant sign of repentance and identification with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.

•We believe in the Christian hope - the imminent, personal return of Messiah Jesus.

A signature does something remarkable—it takes a person and compresses them into a few strokes of ink. It says, "This is me. I was here." Now imagine a Word that wasn't just like a signature of God... it is God, present before anything was ever signed, sealed, or spoken into existence. John 1:1 (KJV) says: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Don't be intimidated by the past tense in that scripture. His Word was active at the beginning, and it's still active today. Across thousands of years, it continues to do the same thing it has always done—it brings us to Him. Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) says, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." God's Word doesn't just inform us—it transforms us.

And because he’s alive, he’s also reachable. God's Word can guide us even when the signal feels lost. He has given us so many ways to reach out to Him that we're never truly without access . 2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV) reminds us, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." These aren't just pages and verses—they carry His presence, His authority, and His power.

And when God speaks, things happen. Isaiah 55:10–11 (NIV) declares, "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Just like rain doesn't fall and disappear without effect, God's Word doesn't go out without accomplishing exactly what He intends.

So what does this mean for us? It means the same Word that was with God in the beginning, the same Word that spoke creation into existence, is the same Word available to you today. God's signature isn't just found on the pages of Scripture. It's found in the lives of those who choose, day after day, to look a little more like Jesus. Every time you open His Word, every time you let it shape your thoughts, your words, and your actions, you're letting His signature be written on you.

So don't wait. Get into the Word today. And if you're looking for a place to grow alongside others who are doing the same, House of Faith has you covered. Join us for Bible study on Wednesdays, our Saturday church service, and events happening practically every day of the week from supported ministries. There's a place for you to plug in, grow, and advance the Kingdom of God. Come be part of something bigger.

Heaven is keeping a record—Not of your failures, not of your shortcomings, but of every faithful thing you have ever done in the name of God. Every prayer. Every act of service. Every sacrifice made when no one was watching.

In Wednesday night Bible study, Pastor Lisa provided a thorough examination of Psalm 19 and out of that discussion, came the anchor verse for today. The verse is Malachi 3:16 (NIV): "Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another, and the Lord listened and heard them. So a scroll of remembrance was written before Him regarding those who feared the Lord and honored His name." A divine ledger in heaven—kept by God—recording the names and righteous deeds of everyone who reveres Him and honors His name. And tucked inside this one verse are three things that should change the way you approach everything you do:

Fear Him.
Honor Him.
Do what He assigns you to do.

When you're faithful—when you show up to serve, when you pray in secret, when you speak life into someone else's darkness—God is not just watching. He is taking notes. Literally.

After the Bible study, I began to see a pattern echoing throughout Scripture. The most powerful vessels God ever used were not celebrated for their perfection. They were celebrated for their faithfulness—even if they fell short sometimes.

David earned the title Man After God's Own Heart. Despite committing adultery and orchestrating murder (2 Samuel 11), he was always swift to return to God in repentance. His devotion was noted. His heart was recorded.

Jacob began his story by deceiving his brother out of his birthright and his father out of his blessing. Yet through surrender and transformation, he became Israel—the patriarch of an entire nation and the father of the twelve tribes (Genesis 25–50).

Peter was impulsive, brash, and denied Jesus three times on the night it mattered most. And yet Jesus looked at him and declared, "You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church" (Matthew 16:18 NIV). His restoration was recorded.

Paul—formerly Saul of Tarsus—spent the early part of his life violently persecuting the church. Yet God called him as His chosen instrument to carry the Gospel to the nations (Acts 9:15 NIV). Count the books he authored in the New Testament. His transformation was recorded.

None of these men were without fault. But God kept a record of what they did in His name—and He is keeping one for you too.

This is exactly what Pastor Conrad pointed to in "The Walk That Frees The Free Part 2": do not do the works of the flesh—do the works of God. Choose to imitate Him even when it is difficult. Because the world is watching, and in your hardest seasons, they expect to see God come out of you. Your faithfulness in the valley is not invisible. God is taking note.

When life puts you in that place, you can pray for God to remember your faithfulness. Nehemiah lived this. After years of faithful, thankless work rebuilding Jerusalem's walls, he prayed simply: "Remember me, O my God, for good—for all that I have done for the house of my God" (Nehemiah 13:14 NKJV). He wasn't boasting. He was trusting that heaven had kept an accurate record.

And Paul put it plainly to the church at Corinth: "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV).

Not in vain.
Not overlooked.
Not forgotten.
Recorded.

If God is writing down all the things you do in His name, it does not matter how far you were from God before he found you, how small the act is or whether anyone around you notices. The one who counts is watching. The one who counts is recording.

Your faithfulness matters. Your ministry matters. And God—who sees all, who knows all, who records all—is keeping a book of remembrance of your devotion to Him and His kingdom.

So serve with that truth burning in your chest. In all that you do, do it for Him.
