MLK Parade – Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026
The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m., with lineup starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Monroe Civic Center. The route will proceed to Eastgate Shopping Center. A $20 registration fee is required for participants.

Pre-Celebration Program – Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026
A Pre-Celebration Program will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church, located at 110 Short Jackson Street, West Monroe.

The Annual Essay Awards and Recognition Program will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Baptist Church , 500 Swayze Street, Monroe.
