Had a great time Friday night at the Students Hot Dog, Bonfire and Hay Ride at Barry and Kellie and Ashley Justus home! Thank you Justus family for hosting us in your home! We had so much fun! It was so cold outside!!!

Thank the Lord for a glorious week in Brazil. Thank you so much for your prayers. We made it home today without any issues, and actually landed 9 minutes ahead of schedule.

This Sunday night, August 11, be in worship at 6:30 p.m. to hear us share about it and to see pictures. You will be glad you did.

Today we will attend church in Uberlandia. I was told they plan to do some songs in English. It will be special. We fly out this afternoon. Thanks again for prayers.

In today's visits we were once more blessed to see more brothers and sisters born into the kingdom of God. We are so grateful for the opportunity. Your prayers are having an effect. Thank you so much.

This photo is of a meeting at a member's home. Bro. Stan was the only American there, and the others were visiting elsewhere. At least 4 of these prayed to receive Christ. Praise the Lord!

Today was another glorious day. At least 8 prayed to receive Christ. It’s probable there were more.

We are developing relationships with the Brazilian believers. They are wonderful people who love the Lord and His people.

Abby, Andrew, and Abbie sang for the service tonight. Cole is serving a different church.

Pray that people will continue to be saved.

Today was another day of God's blessings. Several people prayed to accept Christ. Please pray for healing for Bro. Stan's throat. Other than that, we are all doing well. Pray that God would continue to reap a harvest of souls.

Good evening! Here's an update on our adventure to Brazil.

Yesterday (Saturday), went to the opening rally at First Baptist Church of Uberlandia. It was an interesting experience. At the conclusion, they called all of the missionaries to front and we knelt in our groups and had a commissioning prayer. The missionaries they were talking about were us, along with all of the other people who have come to help with the evangelistic effort.

This morning we went to worship. Abby, Andrew, Cole, and I went to First Baptist Uberaba. In the morning service, a pastor spoke from another city using Genesis 1.

Abbie went to a different church accompanied by Robert Wilbanks from Houston. This afternoon they went visiting and four people said yes to Jesus! Praise the Lord.

This evening, I preached. I challenged the believers and lost people at the conclusion of my message and then turned it over to the pastor. He extended an invitation and the altar was full. I was overwhelmed.

Tomorrow the only thing I know for certain is that we will go to visit the mayor of a neighboring city. I'm sure there will be other visits, but details are sparse. Please continue to pray for us. We are all doing well. We are getting plenty to eat, and will tell about the food when we return.
