We are continuing our Wizard of Oz series on Sunday mornings, and yesterday we heard from Glinda the good witch (Barbara Cecil) and Dorothy played by Pastor Rachel. Come and join us!

Fun evening and Bingo last night at our Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner!

Come and join us this Tuesday, February 17 for the Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner from 6 to 7 PM and then bingo – it’s always a lot of fun. And then join us the next evening for Ash Wednesday services starting at 7 PM.

Good Shepherd preschool is having an open house on Sunday, March 8 from 2 to 4 PM. We will be registering students for our 2026 - 20 27 school year. Your child needs to be three by August 1 and potty trained.
Important information to know:
Three year old class – Monday, Wednesday from 9:15 to noon. Price is a $150 a month.
Four year old class – Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:15 to noon. Price is $180 a month.

Next week (Feb. 8th) is "Each one, Ask one" Sunday. Don't forget to ask someone to come to church. This is a great way for you to share your faith and who knows maybe someone you know is just waiting to be asked!

Due to the weather forecast of 8-12 inches of snow over the next 24 hours along with Gov. Mike DeWine declared state of emergency, we will not have service on Sunday, Jan. 25th. The congregational meeting that was scheduled for this Sunday will be held after next week's service. Be safe and see you next Sunday!

This morning 147 of us went to Abiding Christ Lutheran Church in Fairborn to pack 35,640 meals for the people of Ukraine. Each bag included dehydrated vegetables, vitamins, soy, and rice. Members of nine different churches and our Southern Ohio Synod Bishop Suzanne Darcy Dillahunt were there. What a wonderful effort to feed the hungry of the world.
