On Sunday, June 14, 2026, during our 10 AM Worship Service, Walnut Grove Assembly of God Church will be honoring the legacy and ministry of Walnut Grove Christian School.

We warmly invite all former Principals, Teachers, Students, and their families to attend as we remember, celebrate, and give thanks for the lives impacted through this wonderful season of Christian education and ministry.

Come reconnect, share memories, and celebrate together!

This year at VBS, kids will walk through the Bible story of Jesus and Zacchaeus (Luke 19) and discover what it means to grow in relationship with Jesus and with others.

Every night, kids will learn:
-God knows my name
-I matter to God
-I belong in God’s family
-Jesus forgives me
-God has a plan for my life

GROVE KIDS’ ONE-DAY SPRING RETREAT 2026
Saturday, May 2, 9am-8:30pm

Get ready for one of the most exciting experiences of the year for Grove Kids! Students in 1st–6th grade are invited to join us for an action-packed one-day retreat at Teen Quest Ranch in the beautiful Laurel Mountains. This incredible day will be filled with outdoor adventure, meaningful friendships, and powerful moments growing closer to Jesus.

At the Grove Kids Spring Retreat, students will enjoy a full day of high-energy activities led by trained staff and our trusted Kids Ministry leaders. This retreat is designed to help kids step away from everyday distractions and experience how exciting and life-changing a relationship with Jesus can be.

Throughout the day, kids will participate in fun team-based adventures, spend time with friends and leaders, and engage in two special worship and Bible teaching sessions created just for them.

Students will have opportunities to experience:
-Horseback Riding
-Off-Road Go-Karts
-Archery
-Rock Climbing Wall
-Laser Tag
-Skate Park
-60ft Slide
-Mini-Golf
-Hang Time in the Snack Shack
…and more outdoor adventure experiences!
(All activities are supervised by trained Teen Quest staff and Grove Kids leaders.)

More than just a fun day, this retreat is designed to help kids:
-Begin a relationship with Jesus
-Grow in their faith
-Learn how to share Jesus’ love with others

Lunch and dinner will be provided at the retreat center. We will travel together: Departing Walnut Grove Church at 9:00 AM - and returning to Walnut Grove Church at 8:30 PM. Cost is $59 per student. Scholarships are available! We never want the cost to prevent a child from attending. Please contact Pastor Doug if assistance is needed.

Today, we celebrate the joy of our resurrected King, our living Savior!

As John 11:25 beautifully says, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

True life is found in genuine relationship with the one who made you, gave his life to save you, and rose again to live forever with you. He sees you, comes near to you, hears you, loves you.

May you encounter the closeness of Jesus today & every day.

On Wednesday, March 25, from 7-8:30pm, Walnut Grove Church will open its doors to our community for an evening centered on hope, renewal, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Through meaningful experiences, welcoming spaces, and a powerful Gospel presentation, guests of all ages will discover that because Jesus is alive, new life and a fresh start is possible—for every heart, every story, and every season.

Families, and guests of all ages, will enjoy an interactive evening filled with meaningful Easter-themed stations. Guests can gather around tables for treats and conversation, create a special craft to take home, capture spring family portraits in a beautiful Easter setting, and let the kids participate in an exciting, Gospel-centered egg hunt experience, bounce house, and face-painting. All of this will lead up to a powerful, multi-media Easter Message Presentation at 8pm about finding healing for our past, health for our present, and hope for our future! You, your family, your friends, and the whole community is invited - come join us!
