This post will be our last one on Christ Outreach Church’s page. We sincerely appreciate all of you who have liked and followed our page. Similar to a significant number of other churches, our congregation has unfortunately diminished over the last few years, especially since the COVID 19 pandemic. Rather than shutter our church or donate our property to a 50(c)3 entity, we elected to donate our building lock, stock and barrel to a local Church of the Nazarene. We decided on this course of action because we wanted our facility to continue to be used to further the work of spreading the Gospel in our community. If you pass by 1015 Balfour Road in West Memphis, you will see the new sign for Christ Community Outreach Church of the Nazarene. The change is exciting and Pastor Jennifer Thom is bringing the Good News to a community very much in need. Come visit us! You will see new and familiar faces! God Bless all of you during the Christmas season and beyond.

We are low on canned goods. We have consistently given out 1000+ food boxes for many months now. It is hard to keep up with the need. Are you a member of a group who could collect for us? Maybe your school or work could do a collection for us? Maybe your church could help out? Here is a great opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

In celebration of Father's Day, Christ Outreach Church decorated a table at the front of the sanctuary with pictures of the Fathers of the members who were present. Gone, but not forgotten.

Hope of the Delta is a pro-life pregnancy resource center, not joining in battle AGAINST men and women struggling with an unplanned pregnancy, but instead joining in battle WITH them. Through medical and educational programs, Hope of the Delta empowers men and women to choose LIFE - spiritual, physical and abundant. Christ Outreach Church's Women of Faith are proud to support Hope of the Delta. Shown here is Carol Blansett (left) accepting a check from Donna Wardlow (right) of the Women of Faith to support Hope of the Delta in its mission. The check was appropriately presented on Father's Day, June 19th, of 2022.

Pastor Bartchy was drafted by Christ Outreach Church's Women of Faith, to draw the winning ticket for a $75 gift certificate for Honey Baked Hams. The winner was Gina Barley! We hope she and her family enjoy!

Good afternoon everybody and may God bless you. Again, in an abundance of caution, we are cancelling Sunday morning services for tomorrow, Februay 6th, due to the adverse weather. While we have experienced some thawing during the day today (Saturday), the low temperature tonight is forecast to be 20 degrees F, which would refreeze any remaining slush and water on the parking lot and entrances.
