🙏🏼 WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT! 🙏🏼

We are so incredibly thankful for EVERYONE who showed up last night for our Back to Religious Ed Night! Seeing so many families walk through those doors ready to learn, ask questions, and grow in their faith was such a blessing. ✝️

We hope everyone was able to get registered, get their questions answered, find the right classroom, and leave knowing exactly when and where their next class is!

Our entire Religious Education team is so thankful for your patience and grace as we worked to get everyone where they needed to be, register families, answer questions, and get everything organized for the year ahead.

There were a lot of people, a lot of questions, and a little bit of organized chaos 😅 — but what an absolutely WONDERFUL problem to have!

And like Hannah said in our group chat after the meeting, “The Holy Spirit is alive and well and moving through our parish.” 🕊️🖤

You could truly feel that throughout the night.

We are SO excited to see where God leads us this year and so grateful to be on this journey with all of you. Our prayer is that this year isn’t just about classes and Sacraments, but about helping our children and families grow closer to Jesus and feel at home in our Church.

The Holy Spirit is moving at St. Joseph’s, and we cannot wait to see what He has in store for us this year! 🕊️✝️🙏🏼

🙏🏼 ¡QUÉ NOCHE TAN MARAVILLOSA! 🙏🏼

¡Estamos increíblemente agradecidos con TODOS los que asistieron anoche a nuestra Noche de Regreso a la Educación Religiosa! Fue una gran bendición ver a tantas familias entrar por nuestras puertas listas para aprender, hacer preguntas y crecer en su fe. ✝️

Esperamos que todos hayan podido inscribirse, obtener respuestas a sus preguntas, encontrar el salón correcto y salir sabiendo exactamente cuándo y dónde será su próxima clase.

Todo nuestro equipo de Educación Religiosa y nuestros maestros estamos muy agradecidos por su paciencia y comprensión mientras trabajábamos para ayudar a cada familia a llegar al lugar correcto, completar las inscripciones, responder preguntas y organizar todo para el año que tenemos por delante.

Había mucha gente, muchas preguntas y un poquito de caos organizado 😅, ¡pero qué problema tan MARAVILLOSO tener!

Y como Hannah dijo en nuestro chat de grupo después de la reunión: “El Espíritu Santo está vivo, está presente y se está moviendo en nuestra parroquia.” 🕊️🖤

Realmente se podía sentir durante toda la noche.

Estamos MUY emocionados por ver hacia dónde Dios nos guía este año y muy agradecidos de poder compartir este camino con todos ustedes. Nuestra oración es que este año no se trate solamente de clases y Sacramentos, sino de ayudar a nuestros niños y familias a acercarse más a Jesús y sentirse verdaderamente en casa en nuestra Iglesia.

🍂⛪️ We LOVE seeing our church filling up! ⛪️🍂

Over the last few weeks, we have been so happy to see an increase in attendance at Mass! Seeing more familiar faces, new faces, and families filling our pews has been such a blessing.

And we’re just getting started!

This Wednesday, September 9, we officially kick off another year of growing together in our Catholic faith!

✨ CONFIRMATION CLASS
Confirmation students will meet Wednesday from 2:00–3:00 PM.
Parents of Confirmation students will attend the 6:00 PM parent meeting that evening.

✨ CATECHISM — PARENT & STUDENT MEETING
There will be a required meeting for ALL catechism students AND their parents at 6:00 PM on Wednesday. We’ll go over the upcoming year, important dates, expectations, sacraments, and everything you need to know as we begin!

✨ OCIA CLASSES
Interested in becoming Catholic, learning more about the Catholic faith, or completing your Sacraments? OCIA begins Monday, September 21, from 6:00–7:00 PM and will meet every Monday.

There are so many wonderful things happening at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and we are excited to see our parish continuing to grow!

Thank you to everyone who has been coming back to Mass, bringing your children, inviting others, and helping us build a strong, faith-filled parish community.

🍂⛪️ ¡NOS ENCANTA ver nuestra iglesia llenándose! ⛪️🍂

Durante las últimas semanas, nos ha dado muchísima alegría ver un aumento en la asistencia a Misa. Ver rostros conocidos, caras nuevas y familias llenando nuestras bancas ha sido una verdadera bendición. ❤️

¡Y esto apenas comienza! 🙌

Este miércoles 9 de septiembre, comenzamos oficialmente otro año creciendo juntos en nuestra fe católica.

✨ CLASE DE CONFIRMACIÓN
Los estudiantes de Confirmación se reunirán el miércoles de 2:00 a 3:00 p. m.
Los padres de los estudiantes de Confirmación deberán asistir a la reunión de padres a las 6:00 p. m. esa misma tarde.

✨ CATECISMO — REUNIÓN DE PADRES Y ESTUDIANTES
Habrá una reunión obligatoria para TODOS los estudiantes de catecismo Y sus padres a las 6:00 p. m. el miércoles. Hablaremos sobre el próximo año, fechas importantes, expectativas, sacramentos y todo lo que necesitan saber para comenzar.

✨ CLASES DE OCIA
¿Está interesado en convertirse al catolicismo, aprender más sobre la fe católica o completar sus Sacramentos? OCIA comienza el lunes 21 de septiembre, de 6:00 a 7:00 p. m., y se reunirá todos los lunes.

¡Están sucediendo muchas cosas maravillosas en la Iglesia Católica San José, y estamos muy emocionados de ver cómo nuestra comunidad parroquial continúa creciendo! 🥰

All 7th and 8th grade Confirmation students are required to attend their regular class at 2:00 p.m. Parents are expected to attend the required meeting at 6:00 p.m.

🍂✝️ A new season is beginning—and so is a new year of growing in faith!

With catechism starting in just one week, we are so excited to welcome the children back and continue helping them learn about Jesus, understand their Catholic faith, and grow closer to God.

But faith formation doesn’t begin or end in the classroom—it begins at home, with our families. 🏡🙏🏼

The little things matter: praying together, attending Mass as a family, reading a Bible story, talking about God, showing kindness, and simply making faith part of everyday life.

As we begin this new season, let’s work together—parents, families, catechists, and our parish—to help our children build a faith that will stay with them for a lifetime. 🍁✝️🖤

Small moments. Big faith. It starts at home.

Con el catecismo comenzando en solo una semana, estamos muy emocionados de recibir nuevamente a nuestros niños y continuar ayudándolos a conocer a Jesús, comprender su fe católica y acercarse más a Dios.

Pero la formación en la fe no comienza ni termina en el salón de clases—comienza en casa, con nuestras familias. 🏡🙏🏼
