The Bishop and the cabinet of Western NC Conference have re-appointed Rev. Nikki Raye Rice to serve as the pastor at Bethany UMC for another year. July 1 will be the start of her 4th year at Bethany. May God bless our continued ministry together!

When we got in for worship this morning, the heat was out in the sanctuary. So we had to relocate worship to the fellowship hall. If you hoped to tune in for worship, you can access the livestream video on our website.
Note- if you are using a phone to watch, the webpage does not always show the list of past recordings, if that happens for you, using a computer or tablet will probably work!

Worship Update for Sunday, February 8:

After some folks gathered this morning to assess and work on the sidewalks and parking lots, church leadership has decided that we WILL have worship tomorrow. Here is the plan:

-Sunday School is canceled
-Worship will be at 11:00 AM, with Communion

Important safety note:
Please plan to use ONLY the Fellowship Hall entrance tomorrow.
Side parking lot and Edwards Building parking are safe
Fellowship Hall entrance is safe

Do NOT use the walkways to the front entrance of the church, they are not safe

Please take care and use good judgment as you travel. We look forward to gathering together, in person and online, for worship tomorrow at 11:00 AM.
