Today our lesson was H.E.Y. Mom

H-Honor our mothers (show respect)
E-Embrace our mothers (display love)
Y-Yield to our mothers (practice obedience)

We also gave all the women in our church a potted flower.

On Sunday, we learned that our body is a temple, and we need to take care of it by eating healthy and exercising. In Daniel 1:6-20 we learned how Daniel ate healthy and was in better health than the men who ate the unhealthy foods. We played indoor chair hockey. The kids had fun playing.

We are learning to be All Stars- the 2nd Most Valuable Players (Jesus is the MVP) 🏆Every week is a different sport that we talk about and how we can compare that sport to a story in the Bible! This week we are going to talk about Miriam. 🏀⚽️🏈⚾️🤸🏻‍♀️

Due to the winter storm moving into our area we have made the decision to cancel our church service tomorrow, including youth services.
This decision was not made lightly, but the safety of our church family, especially our children, seniors, and those traveling from a distance is our top priority.
Please stay safe and warm. We encourage you to take time tomorrow to worship at home, pray together as a family, and stay connected to the Lord.
Thank you for your understanding and for being such a caring and gracious church family. We love you and are praying for your protection during this storm.

Ages: 4 years- leaving 6th grade
*The River 104.9 will be there and they are bringing Dr. Magic Smile (magician) and River Dog on Monday July 28*
