On Jan 31st we will be hosting our first Shabbat Schmooze of the year!

If you’d like to join us for Shabbat services prior, they start at 7:05 PM at Congregation Kol-Ami, after which you can walk, drive, or carpool just a few blocks away to the Schmooze (graciously hosted at the apartment of OYP members Leonard & Evin.)

Otherwise feel free to come straight to the Schmooze which will start at 8:45 PM and will include snacks, drinks, and well, schmoozing!

We know it’s been a tough start to the New Year for everyone here in LA, and we hope you will join us to lift our collective spirits and end the month on a high note!

Shabbat Schmooze. This Friday. 8:45pm. West Hollywood.

Join with other young adults in our 20s and 30s for a casual Shabbat dinner and hang after services.
 
This month, we are back at Gideon’s home in West Hollywood (address provided upon RSVP). There will be vegetarian chili, cheese and crackers, and wine. We’ll unwind from the week and welcome Shabbat with friends, music, and laughter.
 
You can walk or hitch a ride from  after services, which start at 7:05pm pm or meet at Gideon’s home in West Hollywood at 8:30 pm. There’s no charge to attend and you don’t have to be a member.
 
If you are able to bring something to share — or contribute to Open Yad’s fund to support this event — that would be much appreciated but you’re welcome no matter what!
