Great day at Pettis Memorial during Missionary Day. We are currently having service in our fellowship hall until repairs can be made in the Sanctuary but the location has not dampened the spirit. To acknowledge Missionary Day, four of Pettis Memorial's members performed a skit. The skit was entitled "MISSIONARY SOCIETY: What Is All The Fuss About?" written by Sis. Debora Gant. Sisters Millicent Johnson,(Narrator), Ruth Johnson, Dorothy Martin and Virgie Phillips were in rare form, bringing the words from the skit to life. The skit was filled with historical information about the CME Women's Missionary Society but done in a comical way. We thank them for their acting skills while informing us more about this ministry in the CME Church.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYY SIS. ROSE JENNINGS MILANEZ, Usher President and a member of the Finance team. Thankful for the Finance team going to the Pastor's home for a meeting after church while he is recuperating from a total knee replacement so he would not have to go to the church. We managed to get a little bday celebration(Sept 11th actual day) in amongst the work. We sang HAPPY bday Stevie Wonder style🎵🎶. Sis. Rose, along with other Ushers, made a presentation during morning worship on CME Connectional Usher Day.
